Hi guys!
I just want you (ok Dave) to know that you are doing a GREAT job on the blogging! We read your posts EVERY day to see what you are doing and where you are staying. I bet you are getting ready to come home...after all, you have to get ready for the big Dells experience! Hopefully the Ducks are still running (you heard that Lake Delton is empty didn't you?)
We are praying for you and encouraging you in our hearts and minds. You are so special to be giving this child a fabulous life!
Love always,
Cousin Stacey

OK, this adoption trip is getting way too luxurious! Did I spell that correctly? Sam and Jake leave for camp tomorrow (Mon.) and then we head to Morton on Friday to see you all! We are so excited to meet Luke, eventhough we feel like we know him already. Thanks for all the details Dave. I hope you can keep this blogspot for Luke to read some day? Jenny

Luke is soooo precious! Looks like he'll be joining swim team soon. I can't wait to see you guys this week! AND I'm soooo glad you found a Starbucks (or maybe China has one on every corner like us) How was it? As good as here? ... I'm enjoying a cup as I am writing to you :)
Anyway, Dave, you are doing a great job keeping us all informed. Love you all, Sheila

Hi guys--I am so enjoying this experience--what will I do next week? I was looking at a map of China and realized that you are very near Gale and Alisa. They live in Dongguan. Wouldn't it be funny if you ran into them???????? HA! Also, Joshua has a pair of squeaky shoes that they purchased in downtown Morton--but, probably made in China!!! We are enjoying our beautiful Sunday the Lord has made!
Love, Em

Now that you are doing the thing that the Nicholson clan is famous for (eating, shopping and vacationing), I will play newscaster: Church was great as usual with the highlight being the jammed packed summer choir's performance! (Sorry Doug, but I missed most of the sermon with the Orlando incident!) Ben has not played since Thursday night but is the DH in today's game. And finally, Craig Wright is still a Cub fan for some unknown reason.

What happened to Orlando? Hi everyone! I'm was worried about what Neil said. Is Orlando Ok? Hope you all are great. Today is paperwork and Medical exam. I'm the only one up enjoying coffee and quiet time. Love you all!

HI! It's Shelby WHAT DID HAPPEN 2 ORLANDO???

Thanks for caring. So when it was time for the sermon, Tammy W. came in and got me saying that they were playing hide and seek and Orlando got his fingers smashed in a door. He was pretty upset. Dave, "the rock" you might want to sit down. His middle finger nail was already completely black and his ring finger nail was pretty red with this bubble of skin coming out from underneath. He didn't want ice or us to look at it. My dad came and looked but O wouldn't calm down. Dr. Hake came out and said that the swelling and pressure was pretty bad and to take him and get a x-ray and possibly drill under the nail to release pressure. Well I wanted a 2nd opinion:) Janelle Rupp and Joe Yerly said to take him in, the fingers were pretty fat looking and bruised on both sides and he cried harder to bend them. Matt took him to Medpoint, got x-rays, no broken bones, and the Dr. wanted to do the drilling but thought that it would upset him more...you think, OUCH!! So he is not really using that hand (right one) Matt said that now he will become a lefty, there you go Brian, you got Orlando. Pretty eventful but ALL is well. You know Orlando...what next=D SOOOOO how are things, your husband ROCKS!!!! While I waited for O news, your blog made me laugh. AND THOSE PICTURES...so glad you got your starbucks I have traveled with you before;) and Linda in the pool, what fun!! Missy I know everyone is saying this and you already know it but seriously SO PRECIOUIS!!!!! Your heart has to be BEAMING!!! I love him so much and have not offically meet him yet. I really can't stand it. The good news is Fri. is finally in sight!!!!!!!!! Our boys will have so much fun together, we will have to keep them away from benches, van doors and church doors ok, all doors and they will be ok, JK;) LOVE YOU SO MUCH!! ps Luke's close up, his lip looks amazing!!!! Have a good day and good night!
