Pictures speak louder than words!

Spring Break 2009

Well, it came and went...Spring Break. I can't believe it's over. Fortunately we were able to get away for a few days to the sunny 85 degree temperatures of Florida. We enjoyed the hospitality (pool) of our friends and were able to watch a game and visit Busch Gardens. It was great. Shelby is on a 10 day missions trip with school now so I'm glad we had the time together as a family before she left.

Luke is doing great! He traveled well and loved the pool. He has a speech evaluation this evening and will start some therapy. He actually mimicks alot but the clarity could be improved!

As we prepare for Easter we remember that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, rose again three days later and will return again for all who believe. We trust at Easter this year you all will know this truth and celebrate it as well.

Lots of Love from all the Nicholsons!

Birthday Times two!

He's 16! She's 12!

Sharing a birthday is all they know and when Piper was born on Cole's 4th birthday I thought they would hate it, but because they embrace it we always have alot of fun. Sometimes we make a bigger deal out of one, and this year because Cole was 16 he got the big celebration. Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate at the Morton Roller Rink. It was his idea and I think it was great. Love that people got into it and for those of you who played "wipe out" hope you aren't too sore! We relish all who contribute to our kids lives! Thank you so much

Giving Thanks 2009

Giving Thanks 2009

Today we give thanks that Dave is back to work. With a very humble and glad heart he is starting a new job with Morton Machining. He drives 5 min. to his office and enjoys the people he is getting to know as he starts. We know there are alot of people who are looking for work at this time so we don't go into this without giving thanks for the Lord's provision. He will provide for your "needs" as you wait on him too. Dave says that now comes the real "trusting" that he will do a good job and learn quickly as he starts a new career. Thanks for all who have prayed, asked and even contributed in him finding work.

Over the weekend we spent most of our time cleaning, painting and organizing his new office. Piper was our source of energy and Luke was into everything. Needless to say Dave and Piper did most of the work. Shelby was at Winter Retreat with Church, and Cole was taking Lifegaurd and First Aid training.

Hope your doing well! Have a great week.
